Journey back in time to the real spirit of Christmas with none other than the spirit that lives within you. Designed by Wendy Wiinanen for DEMDACO, The Christmas Journey is a collection of thoughtfully designed earthenware and décor. Each piece describes a part of the story whether it be actual biblical quotes, beautifully replicated images or stunning realistic figures. These pieces tell the Christmas story the best way possible: by celebrating the birth of it. Christmas dinner now has a story to go along with it. The Road to Bethlehem Serving Platter is a beautiful display of artwork in earthenware, complete with Luke’s words inscribed upon it. Sentiment: And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. At 15.5 X 8, it makes a perfect size for bread, fruit, cheese, or vegetables. Or, simply leave as is for a decorative piece for all to admire.
